Have you ever bought a bunch of herbs, used some of them for soup or salad and then a week later found the leftovers rotten in the fridge? It happens to the best of us… This versatile recipe will change the way to handle your fresh herbs – you can serve it as a dip, add it to your soup, salad or sandwich, and the best part – you can freeze it, so no more rotten herbs in the back of your fridge! 



Green Herb Sauce

The most versatile way to preserve and enjoy your herbs.
Prep Time 20 mins
Servings 4


  • Blender


  • 4 Cups Herbs (mint, basil, dill, parsley, or any other herb you like)
  • 1 Large Lemon Fresh and juicy.
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts and seeds Almonds, walnuts, pumpkin/sunflowers seeds and cashews (make your own mix or just use one kind).
  • 2 tbsp Tahini
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1/8 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Small Piece of lemon peel


  • Wash the herbs thoroughly.
  • Juice the lemon and save a small piece of the peel.
  • Place all the ingredients in a blender or a food processor.
  • Blend till you get a smooth(ish) consistency.
